MICHAEL STRINGER

"A wunderkind. At 18 years of age, Michael has the sensitivity
of Hans Zimmerand the epic scope of John Williams. A brilliant
composer whose attention to direction and passion for collaboration are
invaluable to any project. A star in the making" - Keith Merrill
Michael Stringer is a young composer (born and raised in the UK, Michael
is Greek on his mother’s side and has Italian heritage on his father’s side)
with a growing and diverse portfolio of orchestral and electronic works.
This includes music written for film, theatre and TV. Michael’s professional debut (2023) resulted in two co-written compositions for a nature documentary album commissioned by BMG. An inquisitive and versatile composer, Michael is always prepared to expand his horizons to new styles, particularly when working to a brief. Michael draws from his musical theatre training (Guildford School of Acting junior conservatoire, Phoenix Youth Productions) and his music education (piano, bass trombone) to write music for different contexts. His most recent project was scoring the music for short film ‘Vanity’ (Written and Directed by Betka Bulikova for UAL) which was screened at Cannes 2024.
